The challenge is good for me and reminds me to stop and breathe, I enjoy the other entries so much, it’s like a month-long poetry vacation.
My ninth-grade teacher encouraged me to write poetry, years ago. I think the idea of becoming a writer stemmed as a result. I enjoy reading and writing poetry, though I think I’m a better reader than writer, when it comes to this genre. Still, I love all forms of creative writing.
