Cheesecake Gate

A Cheesecake War sprung up on social media
Mafia cstyle for four days. A disgruntled Customer
called out Mr. Baker claiming it was gooey inside
undercooked and not right. Customer is always right!
Flew out the window along with the gooey insides Mafia
style. He fat shamed her…a big no no. No beefcake here!

All sided with Ms. Customer leading her to a new
better bakery, shoving shame down Mr. Baker’s throat
with admonishments, memes, digs, GIFs, you name it.
The relationship went viral. Compelling onlookers to
make Mr. Baker the butt of cheesecake spoofs.
In defense, he blocked them from his site the internet
tool to stop and desist this mockery: of creamy goo.

Delulu

Maybe I’m delulu
But how could someone like that

Like someone like this.

Maybe I’m delulu
But how can someone so perfect

Like someone so flawed.

Maybe I’m delulu
But how can someone love me

Like I love them.

My Hopes

My hopes stagger from my mind
To be brutalized by moonlight
But feeling as if it’s only on a stage
Letting performance get in its way.

My body steps onto flies
Gathered loosely before my eyes
I briefly wonder what I want to be
Where on my body  I want the pain to berate.

Pain too has a dream
An apology that is at its seams
Mea culpa, a human architecture
My ego, before it as a small stone figure.
