On the Nature of Poems and Puzzles
I work a puzzle
sudoku, kenken, crossword
one is not enough
I pen a poem
pantoum, sonnet, haiku, fib
muse prods another
poems and puzzles
resemble salted peanuts
one does not suffice

Being one who always steals more time for crosswords than the schedule allows, I really, really appreciate that you have captured that need for just one more bite or two.
I like the playfulness here!
Love the tongue-in-cheek comparison in this poem! Clever, as always!
Fantastic! One is not enough.
You’re right – they ARE like salted peanuts!
