aurora crossing
the beat of feet on earth
through sky-
through thin
crowing air.
there only some grey
birdcall-
so cold
dusty and low.
long sticks make cold
running bones-
they hold
and spill
when the water comes
light/heavy
over
the edge.

This one crawled into my gut somehow.
And I love the form. Nice little waterfalls where every word matters!
I really enjoyed this, especially the ending stanza
Mysterious & intriguing.
Loved the form.
especially love “crowing air” and “running bones”
milky way
spills
its path all the way
to the horn
thanks all!!
