Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings and poetry workshops.

Bio for 2023

Austin is a writer from North Carolina who graduated from Berea College with an English degree. Since he spends his days doing anything but writing, he's trying to keep those muscles toned as much as possible. He finds writing poetry to be extremely difficult.

Reason for signing up:

Along with participating in the Lexington Poetry Gauntlet, I'm trying to completely immerse myself in poetry this year and see if I make it back out on the other side.
