Bio for 2025

Jordyn Manczyk is a Kentucky native and a longtime lover of poetry. She is a mom to two (plus a baglehound) and an architect's wife, and she lives with her family in Lexington. She is currently working as the Assistant Director of UK 101/201 at the University of Kentucky where she received her MFA in Creative Writing in 2016. She writes when she can, but spends her time mostly playing with her kids, learning a lot of different crafts with mediocre skill, and serving as her adventuring party's ranger/bard.

Reason for signing up:

I signed up because I kind of left poetry for a while. I started a PhD program, got a new job, became a mom (twice over), and went through all there was to go through in the world from 2016 to now. I'm just beginning to remember my love for poetry and return to having it as a part of my life again. This seemed like a great place to start.

NOTE: Because poets have the ability to hide their badges and because registrations on LexPoMo.com only started in 2017, this may not represent an accurate portrayal of poems published by their associated poets, badges assigned to a poet, a poet's participation in the Writing Challenge, or anyone's relationship to Lexington Poetry Month, the Writing Challenge, or any other events, organizations, or persons.

To find a particular poem, please use the search bar at the top or bottom of the page. If you are a poet and see something missing, inaccurate, or incomplete, please reach out to us on our Contact page.
