Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings and poetry workshops.

Toni Menk | LexPoMo 2026

Bio for 2026

Toni is a poet/Lampwork artist who lives in rural Kentucky. She has a BA in Anthropology from the University of Kentucky and a MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University. She is a member of the Kentucky Guild of Artist and Craftsmen and the Sheltowee Artisans. When she is not in her studio playing with fire and glass, Toni is avoiding housework, trying to write a poem, mowing, or hauling wood.
