Together in
The boy works the sun from dawn till dusk
Wrestling with rays of the piercing light
In a daily path across the land
Lunar gloom is the girl’s nightly toil
In deft hands she weaves the silver thread
Glowing loom she sets to wax and wane
Helpless the two when they’re forced apart
Together found on the moonless night

love this fairytale. It would make a sweet children’s picture book
The language sings. Great visuals.
I love the shape and how it aligns with the content. It’s a very visual piece!
Love the use of white space to show distance.
Especially love “she weaves the silver thread”
Nice! Your use of negative space works well here.
Oh, this is so good! Love the mention of wax and wane with the moon (or moonless) Yes, that space works well!
Beautifully written love story using great word choice and white space!
Nice write, Eric. It evokes a universal longing for partnership in me.
