Vacation day #5 Haibun
With nine people in one House, eventually, we are going to need a plunger, the “discussions” get intense, and the first aid kit will be required, good food, and mostly good times had by all.
Fog over lake a smokey shadow
and no rain,
only blue skies forecasted

From funny to optimistic, nice one! Captures the family vacation really well.
Thank you Bill!
I enjoy the embodiedness of this poem. Your details are earthy and funny and forgiving of our humanity. With the inevitable and ultimately benign conflicts you suggest, you convey kind affections for your peeps with great effectivenes and economy. A masterful use of the haibun form.
Thank you! I am mostly affectionate unless I need a nap— haha!
Nice haibun!
HA! Of course! “ With nine people in one House, eventually, we are going to need a plunger,”
Sweet haibun!
