Convergence
A word,
A juxtaposition, perhaps,
Old thoughts reconsidered in a new slant of light;
And—it seems almost magical!—
A messy tangle of life-threads is unknotted,
Liberated threads, like quantum waves, suddenly align,
Converge in a singular, particulate moment,
Now!
Fecund with Possibility,
Promising as Eternity,
Fleeting, fragile as Earth.

This IS magical and wonderful!
Thank you, Carole!
A very novel ars poetica. I thought I’d seen them all, but no, this is exquisite.
Oh, thank you so much for this feedback! It’s one of those poems that more or less “came” in one piece. Wish that happened more often! 🙂
I like the use of alliteration within these lines.
Thank you, mtpoet! I honestly had not noticed the alliteration!
glad to finally dive into the reading of lexpomo and see you writing!
