A Backward Glance
In my senior moments,
I look back and wonder
if I might have done things
differently? Leaving
the kitchen a little undone,
not concerned if every dish
was put away, and every counter
spotless. I might have bought
a birdfeeder, and watched God’s
glorius creatures. I should have
taken more breaks from studying,
and played tea party with my daughter.
I may have planted some sunflowers
just to watch them grow.
Life has gone by too quickly.

It’s never too late
– till it is
I know. Thanks!
I often picture myself feeling this way just before I die.
Oh dear! I really am a person who takes the time to smell the roses. This is from the perspective of a culmination of people. Thanks!
