All I need is the air that I breathe
Breathe deep the hazy smoke of wildfires.
Branches lurking in the breezes
gently wrap around my throat.
Tendrils, invisible,
swirl into my eyes,
nose, trachea.
Canada,
we share
air.

Hi Julia! … Love how this one ends. Such a poignant comment that can expand to so much!
Hi Em! Thanks so much!
This is very well done!
I appreciate that!
We breathe the same air. Nice ending.
I think we all need reminders of how global warming is really global—we are all connected by weather, our environment is next door to the world. Good powm
