An American Sentence II
Blow gentle, mist-fog the cracks and broken edges, breathe another way.
(Note: An American sentence is a variation on the haiku invented by Allen Ginsburg.)

A prayer.
Yes.
And the American sentence drifts by like a patch of fog. I love these by the way!
Thank you! I love how the words are drifting in these American sentences!
Powerful language, Pam. Thanks!
Sweet words, Nancy! Thank you!
I loved Ginsberg’s work. I saw him read twice, exchanged letters with him, snd attended his memorial service at St. Marks.
How wonderful you had the opportunity to engage with him and honor him at his memorial service.
I love “breathe another way,” which can be read as an imperative or just an observation. Beautiful.
Yes! And thank you!
I live for mist fog on old seventy creek before the sun burns it off.
Old Seventy Creek…what a title that would make for a poem!
