Birth of Summer
Spring births early summer
choruses of crickets sing along to frogs’ songs
Sunlight filters earlier and lingers longer
stars shine brighter and skies expand further
Life busies itself in the finite limitlessness
and chases itself to catch distant autumn breezes.

Lovely!
Thank you, Nancy!
Great imagery and love the way those last two lines taste on the tongue!
Thanks, Joseph! Glad you liked it.
