To listen to feelings is to be lead by a flaky friend
Who doesn’t show when life is hard,
boring, status quo

Commitment is sacrifice when feelings say, “leave”

Without it’s presence,

Families insecure
Friendships unsafe
And romance selfish
These all lean on commitment’s firm promise of “I’m not going anywhere.”
In the face of commitment’s masculinity, we all fall feminine in submission.
