I had a dream of the future.
A dream of hope,
Of justice,
Of someday.
A dream where we had earned it
Even more then we have now.
We outsmarted oblivion several times in a row
And made it look like we could have no chains
Like we had always shaken up the government with no shame.
We moonwalked past the ghosts of the living world
And decided
To free ourselves of being the estranged,
Strangled by reality.
We swan-dived and centered in on our hearts.
We found an eternal life
That couldn’t understand prisons, or other enslavements.
We were past the frequency
That could catch and silence our souls.
It wasn’t easy, but we had made it.
Our bodies
Were lifted by the joys of true justice,
Breaking down the walls of less complex society.
This was where
The queers
And the “others”
The non-normals
And the opressed
The lovers
And the fighters
Finally found our world.
