Dysmorphic
Says she hasn’t eaten in days
60 pounds and a 6-pack
is it worth becoming
weightless?
Don’t we all devolve downward
into pitch black holes
escape all else
but finale?
I don’t meant to be reductionist
what’s the joy in living lacking
the threats of death
in periphery?
I encapsulate motif of change
strain myself against tides
feel my form shapeshift
but do not deny weight.
When we abandon perception
we are not blind as Justice
there is just us at last
and our black holes.

Beautiful…and I love the two ways to see “black holes.”
