Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use
platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive
way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and
encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes
to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly
anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of
the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities
offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings
and poetry workshops.
Thank you, Linda!! We up here in New York are thrilled to pieces. Our city needed something good to happen for quite some time. Your poem is gorgeous! I love “Mother sprouts wings.” Yes!
I definitely appreciate that you see the significance for the team and for the city. We appreciate you and the relenting. We know that you were rooting for the Spurs, and that’s cool, too. Where would the fun be if everyone was rooting for the Knicks?
Good morning, Linda’ Up early, I see, working your magic. This haiku is a potent little spell.
Good morning. The Knicks really did deserve it. They waited enough.

I was for the Spurs but I relented. It was the first time in 50 years!
