Future’s Promise
Early fog burned off
Grace of sunlight
Fills the newborn day
Dressed in summer’s best
Traveling the sidewalk
Head toward church
Father holds son’s hand
Mother pushing pram
Carrying our hope

You paint a portrait of a family with your words. I could picture it all. I like especially your thoughtful selection of words. Thank you for your fine poem!
Your words loft me through the darkness with the hope of little beating hearts . . . this is precious
