Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use
platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive
way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and
encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes
to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly
anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of
the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities
offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings
and poetry workshops.
Love it. BR can definitely sing those blues like a thunderstorm.
She’s still got it too.
omg, i watced several BR videos yesterday too!
Nice haiku! Love me some Bonnie Raitt. Her “Luck of the Draw” is one of my top 10 albums of all time.
The indelible BR. Great tribute to a great artist.
Great metaphor to start off!
This is just right…..
a smile started about half way through the second line… She is an excellent conjuring to face the storm
–but then just about any reason is good to conjure Bonnie Raitt. Loved your Haiku. Thank you.
This haiku truly sings!
I really like this!
Yeah, better than mine.
