Haiku- Hawks
Hawks swirling above
Wings spread in tandem scoping
Their next meal of prey.

Lovely “Wings spread in tandem scoping”
I agree with Pam! The whole poem is beautiful, but I especially love that line.
Full of movement and possibility. Beautiful poem.
love how the poem ends with a small bang on the one syllable “prey”
I like the the gerunds – swirling, scoping – I feel like they are flying.
A lot of movement and story to come in this small piece.
I can see and feel the movement. Nice haiku moment.
Haiku Hawks – love! And “scoping” is such a great word!
