What’s going on?
I’m in one place a second
Then in another place another second
I just wanted to lay down and rest
Why must you torture me so?
It’s funny really
Causing myself pain because I like it
People call me masochist
Never give it much mind
Everything is jumbled
My memories randomly assorting themselves
A maelstrom in my head I can’t escape from
But I can escape them
I just know that what waits for me past them is darkness
I don’t want to go there
So I guess I’ll lay here dissociating into myself
Until the embrace of sleep takes me once again
So I can die in my dreams
