Hot Humid Kentucky Days Demand Ice-Cream
I went to the grocery to get ice-cream
specifically
wildberry lavender mascarpone
and bought two cartons.
Ran into a friend in the parking lot
who I’d not seen in ages.
My bag gaped open.
But I did not share.

Never share ice cream when you don’t want to 😉
I hope you did not let the old friend and the humid day destroy your ice cream. It is a challenge to catch ice cream melting down a cone. Your poem had the wonderful sounding flavors in a carton.
hoping for a sequel
I want to find that “wildberry lavender mascarpone.” It’s making my mouth water.
