Hundreds of soggy catalpa blossoms fall.
Outside my window, the magnolia births
bud after bud. Inside, ripe
nectarines make love in every room.

This poem makes me sigh in lovely relaxation. Especially love the line “make love in every room”!
Nice poem!
Simply beautiful.
the inside outside structure gives the poem another layer
I am looking at a magnolia blossom gotten from a neighbor’s yard. Looks and smells beautiful! I especially love the line line: “Nectarines make love in every room.”
