Let the Body Sing
I walk into the small room tucked at the almost-end of a hallway.
I feel more than a little nervous about what I’ve committed to doing in this room.
However, if I want to grow, I might need to seek help beyond a book or a YouTube video.
But also, a book or a YouTube video cannot witness failure.
I feel more than a little nervous.
I want to fail or succeed in relative privacy and peace.
A book or a YouTube video cannot witness failure.
But also, there is no answer to questions like: “Am I doing this right?”
Though I want to fail or succeed in relative privacy and peace,
now I stand in the room so I can learn
the answer to questions like: “Am I doing this right?”
So I can learn to let my body sing.
Now I stand in the room so I can learn.
Because if I want to grow, I might need to seek help beyond a book or a YouTube video.
To let my body sing,
I walk into the small room tucked at the almost-end of a hallway.
