Shew! This I need to pin to the wall
High praise Shaun! My faith is renewed!
Amen!
Thank you so much Pam! I was hoping I’d get an Amen🙏
Brilliant!
I appreciate that, l.!
Conventional ain’t for artists!
Well, it gets us only so far. Basics are helpful to have as a foundation.
Cheers!
To be creative is to create something new. Something that did not exist before. Anything that has been called into existence needed to be here, has expanded the known universe. Therefore, if it didn’t come from ego, it is needed by the world.
Something new will likely not fit into the old structure, particularly into the old structure of profit, etc.
But it is still needed and therefore it needs a way to live. I believe that creatives need to trust that from whatever strange place the impulse came to them, more impulses will arrive to show them the way to share it. Conventional wisdom has no place for the future, which somehow is also connected with the ancient. Once you begin to trust that impulse, go on trusting it! That’s what I believe.
And this should stud the highwaysides like Burma Shave signs scribbled in radium.
I love that, Goldie! Except you’ll have to enlighten me about the radium, which I’m pretty sure should not be used to spread the message.
Good thing most artists want to be unique or fierce rather than conventional. Your titles are intriguing!
Thank you Sylvia!
