Observations from My Office Window
The birds are flying,
hills remember green again –
at last I can breathe.
*
Two crows watching me
from their gentle, piercing perch.
Do you think they know?
*
I can’t see the rain –
just the popping, dancing rings
in the mud puddle.

love these haiku
Love the way popping works with rings and mud puddle. Great crafting!
“hills remember green again” made me think of Allen Ginsberg. Great work on these! 🙂
‘Popping, dancing rings’ so lovely
The sounds and word usages in this are great. It gives the satisfaction and importance of precise details to put us there.
Little jewels these haiku.
