Painting Title Unremembered
Willow tendrils flutter
green butterflies
breezing the bank
the sun grows tall
she leans on the worn wood
spanning the stream
her shadow crosses
him broken by tree strands
containing all the unwritten
music of the void.

lovely. thank you.
Unwritten music of the void! I want that line. 🙂
I love this poem and don’t know why. ” There is a perfection to the interplay between the squiggles and the spaces.” ….great poem. Wow thank you for this sharing this.
I like “breezing” the verb and, of course, all the music
tree strands!
(probably ancient alien technology.. 🙂 )
I’m also in love with the “unwritten/music of the void.” I love how you use natural imagery throughout the poem.
Very, very musical and lilting.
