Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use
platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive
way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and
encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes
to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly
anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of
the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities
offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings
and poetry workshops.
thank you! for awhile all i had was a title and i thought it would be a long or laborious poem but…these words just sort of floated out and hurt the exact right way…
I like the bitter-sweetness in “at least.”
Gorgeous and every word is loaded.
Thanks, ladies.
So few words say so much. Well done!

fantastic!
Thank you!
Have you read much of George Ella Lyon? These lines sound much like her work. Every word weighted and useful. Great work.

Yes, I love George Ella! That’s a huge compliment to be compared to her, thank you!
Strength packed in such small words.
