Great cocept!
Great form !!!!
Stuck the landing !
10.
Thanks, Coleman. My co-teacher and I do a mini sci-fi unit at the end of the year. At times, some works feel more like nonfiction. Yikes!
Thanks for reading.
Great questioning. Love the rhythm of the alliterations.
Thanks, Virginia! We teachers are receiving training to help students build questions for AI. I felt a little sassy while sitting through it during my last professional development session, and my co-teacher and I have a sci-fi unit that we do at the end of the year. It’s been such a strange experience.
love the pause created by the “oh,” the white space, and the italics
Thaks, Gaby! I hoped it would create a bit of tension, a little smirk, and a sense of breath. Thank you for reading!
I also think of that other version of PoetGPT too: that notebook of scraps I tend to return to and how often I can kill a poetic moment by trying to Frankenstein them together! xD
😆 I see what you mean, however, your thoughts are real and yours. I doubt they are stolen. Thank you for reading, friend!
“poem pieces penned / for other hearts” so perfectly captures AI. Love the ending, too.
Thanks, Bill. It’s strange to see so much tech permeating everything. I am grateful for creating comminuties like this one for keeping the humanity alive and at the center of what we do. Thanks for reading. I always appreciate your kind thoughts.
You nailed this one so well! Beating hearts know, oh, they know! Especially poets!
Thanks, Linda! 💜 Glad you enjoyed this one.
Wow – this is spot on! Thanks for sharing this today.
Thank you for reading this, Nancy! Humanity and poet hearts forever! 💜
I apparently come from another planet H.A. and had never heard of PoetGPT until reading your poem. Now that I have joined the rest of the world.
Thank you for reading. Truth be told, I didn’t know about it until recently, too. I shall join you here on earth.
That makes me feel much better!
Like, John, I’ve not heard of PoetGPT till now. Thank you, H.A., for your master class contained in this spot-on poem
Thank you for reading and finding this piece’s relevance.
At first, I read this through thinking the title was PoetGPS! Had to read again closer – (Time for new glasses!) AI or any of its relatives scare me. You pegged this new phenomenon among us and the true heart we seek. Thanks!
Thank you, Pam! I can relate to the glasses. I need mine, too! Glad you found this poem relevant. May the human poet hearts stay true. 💜

Sorry. My autocorrect strikes again!! The robots are plotting against us!
Something about that skin and bones ❤️
Indeed. 💜
Like John and L. I’ve not heard of Poet GPT so looked it up and started the poem again.
I love the direct address and now knowing What PGPT is these lines “still recycling/poem pieces penned/for other hearts?” changed entirely from my first reading and “but beating hearts know…/oh,/they know.” lands oh so very, very well!
Thank you, Pam!! (My autofill, which is apparently different from autocorrect[?] guessed correctly here. Yikes!) I am always rooting for humans and human hearts. Always. So glad you read and found this poem worth something. 💜💜
Love this! Not to mention PoetGPT could never use form this way.
Thank you so much, Ellen! I appreciate that you read this and left such kind words for me.
“oh
they know”
This was great! Terrible that it’s found its way into just about everything nowadays. Though it’s doubly sad seeing it move into the writing community. But, oh…do they know.
