Pride
June
has
rainbowed
all over
dull stuck-in-mud fields.
(Gardens blush in bud, then in bloom.)
Brighter hues bruise new horizons
long shaded in clouds
and shadow.
Brilliance
won’t
hide.

No it won’t. Love this!
Love the levels of word play here, a delight
Yes! Double fib with double (at least) meaning. Well done!
Love the form–how it echoes meaning!
This is both visual and alive in sound. “Brighter hues bruise new horizons.”
Looks like a cross to me blessing all the newness. I really enjoy when people use nouns as verbs (rainbowed).
I haven’t used this form in a long time. You use it really well.
And that middle line!
(Gardens blush in bud, then in bloom.)
