I knew this was your poem when I saw the title. That it is composed from lines from Karen’s blows my mind. It’s like an infinite loop of beauty.
Have you read AT THE CENTER OF ALL BEAUTY by Fenton Johnson?
I find it to be a beautiful book and have read it twice. I plan to read it again this summer.
I’m thinking of it in connection with you now because when I read your work I find myself hearing words rooted in silence. That is your gift!
Ditto Roberta’s comments. I feel the calm in just those few words.
Nancy thank you for your generous responses to my work here.
Beautiful–great sparseness.
Thank you!!!
I just read your poem for today… gather the children of your thoughts… what a turn in this poem!!!!
I love when poets get inspiration from other poets/poems! Lexpomo becomes an intricately women quilt.
Kate, I love that you used my words taken from the words of other writers and artists to make a poem of your own. This makes me so happy, all the connections forged through LEXPOMO.
