Same as It Ever Was
Millenials do stuff.
They book
their next trip while traveling
to the airport.
Boomers reflect on stuff.
They take notes
instead of going to the gym.
Their bank accounts lie dormant.
Grave plots loom.

This poem rings true. I snickered at the ending. I love short poems that drive you straight home.
Good job Gaby!
I agree with Linda— you nailed it!
“millennial do,” “boomers reflect” Isn’t it always that way, even without the epithets? Good one.
It made me think about the lines and motive, it’s different from my own inclination. Yet very enjoyable
