Summer Solstice
Welcome tomorrow!
Our earth’s tilt, earth’s distance–
come with morning birds’ welcome.
Water & air warm up soon.

Something about saying “welcome tomorrow” makes me happy, hopeful, open.
Welcome is open & hopeful. Thanks
Officially the longest stretch of daylight in the year! Welcome, indeed.
Indeed. Thanks.
I love SUMMER SOLSTICE thank you for your sweet reminder. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area it is suppose to be a HOT one so we’ll probably drive over to Half Moon Bay the ocean is always so wavy gravy!!!! Also Melva, thank you for a comment you made on one of my poems I appreciate it!
It’s nice to get to know you.
Melva, thanks for celebrating what we–in different parts of the land–are celebrating in these days. For us in the SW, it was cool on the solstice after days of heat…and now, welcome monsoon rains.
