Like it so much and envy you—I have never had much luck growing sunflowers—the damn squirrels!
I have a rather large garden to be inside town, and the squirrels do get their share. I keep the sunflowers covered until they are about 1 1/2 foot tall. Squirrels tend to let them be, but then it’s the crows who like to bite the tops out.
Another beauty of a poem. I’ve loved the poems you’ve shared this month, how the long titles interact with brevity of the poems, and how they speak volumes with so few words. Bravo!
