This one really does read like a lullaby, beckoning us to calm for a bit so the healing and quiet can seep in. Very lovely.
Thank you L , commenting that. Wasn’t sure it worked.
Love the repeat of “forest breathes” in 1st and 2nd stanza.
Takes my breath; “soft leaking of the sun”
Thanks Pam 😀
Do whatever you want Coleman, it’s your page!

Against a soil where nothing true is impeded”

Thanks Kevin, for all you are.
and funny had to scramble this one because the other didn’t format right and something funny happened, raw, unpunctuated and simple……an accidental wonderment.
This also is my favorite line;
“Let tangled lines and the daily worries crush
Against a soil where nothing true is impeded”
❤️

Love the slow, meditative tone of this poem.
Thanknyou Karen. Yes, the lack of punctuation slowed it down somehow. ?????? Thanks for saying that….. 😀
Yes, I thought of that Hendrix song – And the Wind Cries Mary. That haunting quality. All the things we can hear in the silence!
