When you’re under- or over-whelmed,
Mine
a space
where you might linger
a way to connect
lift you at
end of day. Imagine
time refracted the
sky fat blue a bridge
of marbled
suggestion
a way
to
span the distance between you
and your body—
rest in
a few moments
of ownership
forget
repair
~ Erasure of Lia Purpura’s All the Fierce Tethers, p 7-8

Marvelous – also love the body with “a few moments/of ownership.” Life is fleeting.
Thank you, Sylvia. Good to see you in person, sort of, in the Zoom box at the Accents Reading last night.
Yes, Karen – to see and hear you as well. I thought it was a great diverse group!
This poem is so dreamy – it invites to linger. I too love

Thanks, Pam!
Oh, my, this is lovely! “Fat blue” & “marbled suggestion”–gorgeous! And the ending is perfect: the idea of owning oneself & not feeling the need to “fix” oneself”-“forget repair.” Wonderful!
Another wonderful found poem, Karen! You have such a gift for finding what’s needed.
