Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings and poetry workshops.

Bio for 2021

I'm a buckabilly artist/poet who lives to sling paint and words.Born in Ohio to Eastern Kentuckyparents who got married and crossed the bridge to Ohio all in the same Day in search of employment.We came home to the hills and hollars of Kentucky my definition of vacation was Mamaws and Papaws house on the end of a dirt road in Elliott County . Then I finally moved back here at twelve and embrace the BlackBerry briar lined country roads till this day.
