Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings and poetry workshops.

Bio for 2022

Diana is a transgender-woman, a meteorologist, an active duty service member and a poet who currently resides in New Mexico.

Reason for signing up:

Lexington Poetry Month has become a yearly tradition for me. It helps me to stay in touch with my roots and a growing community I found 9 years ago. Even though I live far away, I enjoy coming back every year and getting inspired by so many others, some new some not so new, it's something organic and unique.
