Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings and poetry workshops.

Bio for 2022

Michael is a 75 year old would-be poet who once a year used to stop by a certain cemetery in Bennington, Vermont, to apologize to the grave of Robert Frost for not having written enough/any poems since the last time he’d passed by that way.

Reason for signing up:

I’ve got a need to poetize one of my old prose pieces. This seems like as good a place as any to do that, not to mention that the other LexPoMo poets are lovely folks with whom to virtually hang.
