Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings and poetry workshops.

Bio for 2024

Since she learned to write, Jordan has been creating poetry. She is inspired most by lyrical poetry and melodies, poets she admires, her personal experiences and those influential people she is fortunate enough to call family and friends. Jordan is a working poet and mental health advocate.

I'm honored to participate in another LexPoMo and look forward to reading samples of poetry from such a talented group of KY poets that show up every year in full force.
