Bio for 2025

Sally received a NJ State Young Writer’s Award in 1981, a age 30. In 1982, after moving to Lexington, she was asked to teach 2 creative writing sessions at UK. In 1883, she smashed her typewriter & quit ALL writing for 35 years. Then, in 2019, she was moved by a young, fellow poetic voice to write again. In the past 6 years she has written more than 350 poem, which were posted on Poetry Soup.com. Sally is also a visual artist whose work is slowly going up on fineArtAmerica.com
Sally believes that for All, their voice of poetry lies inside, twin to the soul, eager to surface, necessary to sound in order to live fully in our times.
