Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings and poetry workshops.

Bio

My work has appeared in several journals, including New Plains Review, The Bookends Review , Mantis Magazine, and most recently in Sagebrush Review. I have co-authored a chapbook of ekphrastic poetry entitled Frame and Mount the Sky that was published by Finishing Line Press in June of 2017. I am the author of Strum and Lull (2019) and The Profusion (2019), and three of my poems have been nominated for the Pushcart Award. My full-length collection, Plunge, was published by UnCollected Press in 2023. I won First Place in The Ekphrastic Review’s “Ticked Pink” poetry contest in August of 2024. In 2025, Shanti Arts published Delight Is a Field, of which I am co-author.
