Time Off for Good Behavior
Who is that girl?
She owns freedom, abundance.
She wins a fellowship
for her poetry, but the true
prize is in the averages:
An average of two big events
and one solid teaching or
metaphysical gig a month.
And a delighted schedule
of private readings:
Her cards and Tea Leaves reveal
“Thank you, Universe, more please!”
She knows her worth,
that’s who she is.
Even on days full of errands,
Her car runs well, she’s always
on time for blessings,
and she keeps calling
in more to be grateful for.
She’s fixed her broken
“Book Now” links and buttons.
She takes off when it’s appropriate,
takes off so well, she may take off
the rest of the month.

I still need to apply for the fellowship and update my website so the “Book Now” button is correct.
But I might take the rest of the month off from posting here???
Congrats on all the things! Take the time off! (But I hope you’ll post some more … but only if you’re in the mood.)
“always on time for blessings” is delightful! Take some time for yourself if you need it, you have a lot going on
Sounds like your going places! And if that takes you to a place of needing rest, enjoy every bit of it!
Delightful description of process and promise. Wishing you the best.

Wishing you more of all the best!!!
Yes to “She knows her worth,/that’s who she is.”
Always enjoy seeing and continue looking forward to seeing more of your work!
When the universe opens the door, go on through! Congrats on all your achievements and many more!
Haha! I love that last line, maybe I should too. We could meet up
