A Fog Crept Over The Mountains
A fog crept over the mountain
to tuck me in safely between the hills
to sing me lullabies from afar
to give me hope that I’m not missing much
outside these mountains
because even the fog disappears once it leaves them.

My first impression-beautiful
my 2nd impression-beautiful and I want to be in your mountains
my 3rd impression-you are not missing much because I’ve seen them too.
I love the rhythm and feeling of this poem
Idk, man. I just keep reading it. The hallmark of a good poem. 🙂
And sunlight absorbs fog even in the deep valley…
‘tuck me safely in’ — love the feeling this line inspires.
Lovely little poem.
