Everybody is serene.
We are rolling toward morning.

Love this π
Thanks Leah! π
I love how each of them are doing their own thing. The woman seems almost melancholy, while the cat is just being a cat and trying to get comfortable.
Thanks, L.!
Yes, L said it well: both working to their own end. Beautiful image: “chase burning dust across the sky”
Thanks, Shaun!
I agree with Shaun, “chase burning dust across the skyβ is such a gorgeous image.
Thanks, H.A.! I love shooting stars.
captures the moment, which is completed by the soft paws kneading lap
Thanks, Mike!
Great image painted with each doing their thing!
Thanks, John!
Such a beautiful image. Peaceful scene.
Thanks, Virginia!
Iβm a broken record on these: excellent.

I love the contrast of the seeing and the feeling in this one.
Thanks, Nancy π
Ah, will the cat be a purring bridge between Woman and Cowboy? I will miss them all!
ππ
The woman has discipline, I might have taken cover. And the cat seems totally disinterested in what’s going on.
Lol….
Evoking, preparing, for what’s to come…
Yep!
This morning I heard on NPR a discussion of the Great American Road Trip — why and how. This poem can be added to the readings people recommended (Kerouac, McCarthy, etc.). Esp. like the way the second phrase softens the first.

Striking visual., and I love how the cat is creating a potential bridge.
π
Lovely. So visual!
π
Always love your imagery!
π
I love the balance between the active eyes chasing “burning dust in the sky”and the cat massage.
π
Precious image!
