Beautiful ekphrasis!
love the verb “rides”
Wonderful. I’ve always this painting, and you have captured not just what it looks like, but what it feels like.
haiku ekphrasis
so good
I love ekphrastic haiku. The shortness of the haiku allows more time to contemplate the painting and the haiku together and separately.
I like how you move from bare and flat to exquisite turquoise.
Last line is chill worthy!
Nice, nice, nice!
Nice, Karen, very nice.
“Ladder rides turquoise heavens” –a great line!
