Kentucky Classics
When she is playing the organ
the theatre becomes more beautiful
It’s like a Czechoslavakian cookie box
from the late 1800s
A whole orchestra in her hands

That final line is a perfect tribute to the power of an organist!
I love the idea of the theater as a cookie box
You should show her this next time, as there is no grander or more appropriate praise. Great poem. Fabulous image.
Goldie points out that Czechoslavakia didn’t exist in the late 1800s. So I’ll have to change it to “Bohemian”
I had thought something didn’t feel quite right 😀
