Mulberry Tree Blows Over:
Provoking Emergency Picking
a bit of cobbler dropped
on front porch:
to the tiny ants
their sweet boulders
in an orderly row
bit by bit
bite by bite
of a broom sweep
blows it over

i support all mulberry related poetry!!
I love the ants and “their sweet boulders”! And I second Dustin’s support of mulberry-related poetry. 🙂
Playing God with the ants again?
I don’t think you even need the first line! I like image in 2nd line that your mulberry cobbler landed on your porch—pulls me into the poem and I become that tiny ant moving mountains of juicy berries! Great poem!
Our mulberry perished in a past storm, too.
