my own metamorphosis
four years
this space has been my own
it serves me well, I remain content
I remember wanting to be here, long before I was
a lovely illustration reminding me
hope can morph into reality
these walls have witnessed my own metamorphosis
change, albeit slow
back to who I once was

It’s lovely to finally be a butterfly, or a moth if that’s your jam.
This one cuts deep, thank you for sharing it. I’ve been in my space the same time but it’s required me to become someone very different and is far from everything I know. It’s likely to be my permanent situation after trying many other things, so my work is to find myself despite it instead of being able to sink into the origination of me with it. I wanted this journey you describe and it is heartening to hear that someone went “home” again (in some way) and was in fact not estranged by that. Thanks.
